Last chapter pissed me of about wells, now they don't know about basic fertiliser?! We humans have used animal dung as fertiliser for almost 8000 years!!!!
I don't get how these people don't have pumps or some other mechanism for their wells. In Europe we have had things like piston pumps as early as the 1400s. How backwards are these places they get transferred too.

Bay leaf is actually an umbrella term for leaves from various plants used for culinary purposes due to their aromatic qualities. Laurier is most likely based of Laurus nobilis, the true laurel.
The power output also matches the level of the skill, so if you learned a new sword skill and it's level 1, it would probably be under powered compared to the skills you have had time to master.
The only thing that is necessary to destroy the golem, is that the impact from the landing travel inside the golem and shatter it's core, you don't really need to damage anything else.
