looks more like a Promotional Serialization, but it could have been cancelled earlier cause the magazine run out of pages(hiatus coming back or new launches) ...too bad like most of PS it starts with a interesting punch but with the pass of time they goes back to the usual tropes...

looks like this was a "filler manga" (a manga made only to complete the pages quota of a magazine) a fate far worse than be made a "Promotional Serialization"...
