I think Nadare's obviously incoming redemption will be more believable than if Shakuhito gets one. The former while being the head still seems like a pawn of the elders but still thinks about the situation while the latter follows his father and just goes with the flow to satisfy his desires.

@Ruwan Nadare split people off. Probably for insurance, he incuded someone weak with Kogarashi in the event that Kogarashi dodges his attacks. He was correct in predicting Kogarashi will protect the weak if Nadare targets them but didn't expect the use of the magatama.
