Wow, it's been a long while since this updated. I'm glad to see it back .

Speed Racer came out when I was five, so that's when I began watching Anime. I first began reading Manga around 1982 while stationed in Okinawa. I first began reading a lot of Manga when I discovered Batoto.

Bototo of course. And I have this desperate hope that if I can recruit enough people from other sites to read scanlations I like there will be a paper copy or perhaps an anime.

Well, it's about the eighties. Even in the States we had the Back To The Future Movies, and Quantum Leap starting in 1989. And A Christmas Story was a series of long memories.

@Curccoll I have used all of those, actually. If you get engaged to someone who speaks f4ench even the insufficient amount of French they teach in high school can be a starting point.
