"Meshi" translates to "rice" (cooked). which makes a lot of sense as Ikameshi is squid stuffed with rice. Meshi doesn't actually translate to delicious. "Delicious in Dungeon" took a few artistic liberties with the title translation - Dungeon Meshi more properly translates to "Dungeon Meals"

hmm... i think the wrong kanji for 'kaidan' was used in the translation note. It should be 怪談, not 理科 (which is 'rika' and means 'science') https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaidan
