The fight scenes are really awesome. Way better than anything Tsutomu Nihey created IMHO. If the manga is popular then the author can take his time with the plot and deliver such eye candy.

I would not be surprised if Est and Daru arrived TOGETHER and defeated the demon with their newfound power of rekindled friendship. So surprise me mister author! How bad can this get!?
