A good series, but Chaptrs 9-34 were taken down, so you have to read them elsewhere, and let's just say that the non-official versions are really, really lacking. Absolutely terrible formatting and machine translation only, which makes it a pain to read. I'd wait until this entire series is out...

I don't know what it is about this type of manga, but the author never manages to get the pacing right. Just an FYI, this manga has a NINE chapter long flashback sequence in the middle of a pivotal discussion. I legitimately forgot what the discussion was about over the nine fucking chapter...

FYI: If you're expecting a strong female lead who is a competent assassin and does stuff by herself, turn back now. The manga's story literally does not move unless the male lead is pushing it forward. It's bad. If you want a trashy bad romance manga, then full steam ahead. If you were hoping...

In the first chapter, the MC orders an armament strike on civilians... and we're supposed to be sympathetic with this literal war criminal MC? Is this like a redemption story or what? I'm so confused, I'm in disbelief the manga is literally trying to have you identify and root for a literal war...

I have never ever seen a more sloppy conclusion than this. It really is wild how so many story threads weren't even hinted at and they just hard-dropped the story in the space of one issue. What a forgettable series.

I thought "suicidal revenge story in an isekai setting" would be a cool combination of themes, but no, it's just dissolved into standard isekai trash with no good hooks, abysmal exposition pacing, and mediocre art. Entirely forgettable.
