I read the manga because the art style is much better than the TV show. The hair + red eyes really make Murasaki much better in manga style, than the realistic approach from the anime. But yeah this manga is kinda axed and it really showed, so that's unfortunate.

The Lin from the anime and manga is like 100% different lol. She's so attentive to every Murasaki's needs, while in the anime she's just a cold hearted bodyguard who likes to fight people. Bride Murasaki is cute though

I genuinely prefer the manga version than the anime, despite the differences. Since they actually didn't try to avoid the romantic aspect of this, considering it's the main plot of her mother's wishes.

Another huge divergence from the anime I see. They're not even going to the mansion, but a hotel? The same hotel in the OVA? is the anime even canon anymore.

The one thing I appreciate about this manga is that they gradually shows how Murasaki fall in love with Shinkuro. From blushing off the headpats, sleeping together and a simple clothing affirmation scene. In the anime the buildup is just worse because I was confused when she end up kissing him...
