I mean it sucks for Hazuki that both of her parents suck, this is more about punishing Mizuki than anything else. Not like she is doing a great job being a parent either though, she's more concerned with being a slut for a JK than caring for her own daughter.

At this point, I hope the dad finds out and takes custody of Hazuki. I don't know how likely it is within the Japanese court system but it would be a fitting punishment.
