I was looking for information about this series the other day, and Google Translate called it "Catch Me at the Ballpark!" Is that a valid translation of the original name?

Is the count of 48 chapters total correct? There are currently 39 chapters translated, but it looks like a bunch of chapters in the first few volumes were skipped. (Maybe they weren't counted because they were Akechi stories; were they translated anywhere?)
