Thanks for the head's up. Happily, I've long since moved to using stupidly long, randomly-generated passwords for everything, on top of different usernames. Too bad about the email but it's linked to other previously-hacked sites anyway, so eh. It's inevitable.

I'm kinda scratching my head over how highly rated this is. It isn't bad, but... I'm finding this to be a bit bland and lifeless, which isn't helped by the stiff art. Maybe I'm spoiled by Dungeon Meshi. I think I'll drop it for now.

Same. The only things that reliably load are chapters that were published within the past few hours. Still haven't tested my home computer. I would just read on my phone (everything loads there), but it's super unprofessional to have my phone out at work all day. ETA: BraveDude in another...

I'm having the same issue with a lot of chapters. The first chapter of this manga translated by HMS Seira-dan loaded for me; the second won't. Tried regular and incognito mode, with adblocker off, a hard refresh with ad blocker off... Nothing. Tried on my phone and it loaded first try, no...

@Holo Out of curiosity - and this isn't really the thread for this, sorry - has an opt-in ad system been considered? I already allow Brave to serve me ads; I'd be perfectly happy to whitelist MD on my various devices. It's the least I could do, considering how many hours I've spent on here...

@iencm As others have already mentioned, WebP doesn't play nice with MacOS, and about 20% of the userbase is on an Apple product.

Came because MangaRock's reader wasn't as good. Stayed because MangaRock shut down (RIP MangaRock.... good luck to inkr but it's futile - the manga industry is the real reason we don't have a good, legal aggregator).

Things are loading MUCH faster since I switched to data saver. I do prefer the HQ images, especially for the two-page spreads, but I'm more than happy to read at a lower quality if it means I get to read faster and reduce the stress on the server at the same time.

I use Brave across all of my devices, and while it's not a lot, I'd be more than happy to donate all of my BAT to MangaDex across all of my devices. The biggest issue is I'm not sure how Uphold would handle the legal troubles MangaDex faces.

Have you considered allowing Brave rewards? I've got plenty stored up and nothing to donate them to, as I haven't been able to set up an account to withdraw the funds myself.
