Welcome Back, Alice - Vol. 2 Ch. 11 - Confession

@Carletti11: uptil this chapter yeah it really had this strong Aku no Hana feeling to it, with Mitani seemingly taking interest in Kei when competition came around the corner. Now I'm not so sure, as far as mapping the roles from one manga to the other goes : the presumably socially "normal"...

    Vinland Saga - Vol. 24 Ch. 173 - Sailing West Part 7

@supermoonchrome, agreed. And to me the worst part isn't even the shoving of his ideology, which is inherent to writing, but the way it's done, with long boring pseudo philosophical discussions, instead of showing it through people every day life and interactions, successes and setbacks. And the...

@stc91 : "need NSFW tag". Whether it is hardcore hentai or childish shoujo, unless reading manga is in your job description, any manga should be thus tagged, shouldn't it ? Or perhaps you meant to say Not Safe From Whistleblowing ? ^^

who here read wheel of time or malazan?

@elbs One that is also decently reviewed is The lies of Locke Lamora. I only read the first one and AFAIR it's got a steady pace, is focused on a narrow range of characters, and is more bent on trickery and manipulation (mission: impossible style) than on epic battles. As others said, Brian...

    Musume no Tomodachi

The art is gorgeous, with just the right amount of sketchiness. Which enables the author not to insult the audience with lazy walls of character inner-blabbering, but to just show what's going on and slowly building up. It somehow reminds me of Aku no Hana.

who here read wheel of time or malazan?

A bit late to the party, but here are a few titles that might be of interest : The Darkness That Comes Before. Maybe the closest thing, in the following list, to the Malaazan in its scope and grimness. The Fifth Season More coming of age -ish (i think) : The Dragon's Path. The Blade Itself...
