I feel like the women he become involved with are destined to try to grow into stronger and more powerful figures like in some attempt to somehow reach his level (e.g. Kosuzu). I also think this is a subtle way to push him back in her direction given how he is basically his uncle's proxy atm.

This chapter made me wonder how easy it is for people to communicate with Sui since the kids seemed to understand him so well. I mean tbf they're all kids anyway but I guess the confusion is from Fel being the one that can talk naturally. Also Fel breaking into an awkward smile at the end, love it!

It feels so rare to see Mukouda get that smug look he shows in page 11, usually it's happiness at some comfort or endless exasperation.
