Geez, you're lazy and have a bad memory. :p Go reread Combini from the beginning. First is his "cure" from overheat (in particular when OL-san's influence on his heart and mind is too much) aka cooling patch, second is a snack OL-san gave him once before, which he got addicted to ever since then.

Me explaining the whole conundrum in a note was a way to stay faithful to the author and the language of original (for me). The ambiguity is here, and I believe that's where it should stay to keep things organic. Changing speech patterns of the character to something it isn't - is handing it in...

I'm not sure what you want me to do, but I'm not into rewriting. If she speak like this in Nozomi-sensei's script, I do just that. I try to adapt my translation as close to original as possible, outside of unfortunate bits that just doesn't work in English as is. And thank you. ^^

I didn't expect I'll have to address it, but yes, in case of tonkatsu the sauce would be most surely katsu sauce. What I did was - generalizing on the concept of "seasoning factions". My bad, I guess it didn't transfer well with my note. Was not doing it in context of tonkatsu, but in general...
