Oh, no, I completely agree, the duke is horrible- honestly, the whole family are a bunch of psychopaths.
I was just saying that she is probably safe from the duke killing her, as he still considers Adele to be a useful pawn.

Except it wasn't the duke that sent them, I don't remember what chapter it was said, but I am pretty sure Hexion revealed the emperor would probably plot to have Adele killed, and would frame the duke.
