I didn't said the story wasn't serious, I said the story wasn't good by itself and need the mangaka ability to supplement the original author story cuz it would be a pretty bad manga without that.

I'm with Ichi there, I really don't want to read something I'm forced to read. One of the joy of reading is actually finding what you will read, forcing me one from a list remove a lot of fun and pissed me of while at school.
