I'm certain Wonder of U is a reference to the Final Destination movies. In the movies a "knocking effect" causes a Rube Goldberg chain of events every time it's activated to hurt the target, with increasingly absurd scenarios and chains of events. But a big part of the movies was the curse...

Wonder of U might be a riff on Final Destination, where death is a sudden force that acts on objects to cause devastation to try to "right" fate. But instead of causing immediate death it harms and attacks directly, and the order seems to be determined by some unknown quality.

I'm wondering how the Wall Eyes are going to play into this finale. It might just be a supernatural hazard and amount to nothing, but it's still really ingrained with everything and has been exchanging some really peculiar things for Stand abilities. Like I think it's too much of a coincidence...

Wait one goddamn minute. The little hole that Yasuho was pulled through earlier in the series was right next to the cave that the Higashikata go to exchange the disease? Something has to be up with that.

I'm believe some of these abilities aren't being shown to us fully. There are lots of comments from the narrator and the characters themselves suggesting that they aren't being honest to each other about what they can do, seeming to set up some big reveal.
