It makes sense now. Makima, or the Control Devil, fear Pochita's power (all the devils fear the Chainsaw Devil), so they are trying to break Denji's contract with Pochita to make him stop being Chainsaw Man. Denji really needs to snap out of it and go full Doomguy on these bastards.
