@Bainhardt Oh, wow, never thought I would "spoil" myself with some shots from an Esperanto dictionary 😆 (thanks for all that info, btw)
So, if it's not Esperanto, not Italian, not Latin... maybe it's a conlang made by Seno Salt himself? That wouldn't be strange for any Linguistics enthusiast...
@Kaisermutt Don't take my word for it, but I think "Heterogenia Linguistiko" might be an Esperanto phrase. I can't really explain why, my knowledge of that one conlang is pretty limited, it's more like a hunch. So yeah, it's quite likely that my supposition is wrong, but I wanted to tell you anyway.
@fodderchara18 I never knew that the guy who scanlates two of my favorite manga like Chion-san and Temple was from Portugal. Say, have you ever thought of adding "Kuneru Maruta" (and its sequel "Kuneru Maruta Novo") to your projects? RyColaa did the 3 first chapters some years ago but nobody...
Oh man, so great to see Igi Poppu making a cameo here. I always loved The Sutoujis... Do you guys remember their eponymous debut album (with killer songs like "Omae no Inu ni Naritai"), or their masterpiece "Nama no Chikara"?
@guildwriter I don't think it will be that one. You see, that's just a long buzz cut, many other jazz musicians had a similar haircut, it's too common. It's very unlikely that somebody would ask for that hairdo using specifically Sonny as a reference.
If we're talking about a haircut that's...
@pomodoro Me neither, this manga's been showing us many hidden gems of Japan. I wonder if the Japan National Tourism Organization is sponsoring the author...
@pomodoro Right in the middle of the Bōsō Peninsula, probably around Ōtaki-machi.
I've never been there actually, but after a little search I found that Kominato Line ends at Kazusa-Nakano Station (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kominato_Line), and Mukōyama-Kyōei Tunnel's location...
@BCS @Kisato I’m 99.99% sure she was referring to this cartoon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misha#Misha_the_Little_Bear
You know, since in this one Misha really is the bear’s name, and also bc it was made in Japan.
Is anybody else wondering about the musicians in the shadows from the 27 Club band lineup we see at ch 24 pg 35?
Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Brian Jones are pretty easy to tell... but what about the bassist? My guess is either Dave Alexander from The Stooges or Gary Thain from Uriah Heep. No...
Gotta admit, I laughed so hard at that demonic kabe-don (or should I say ki-don?)... probably one of my favorite "Wall Pin of Love" moments, surpassed only by the Tokimeki Memorial / DK Country skit from Pop Team Epic's anime
