The tonal shift between the heartbreaking scene at the hospital and Joshu attempting to sexually assault his own mother is staggering.

I can’t believe I put off reading this for so long after part 7. Half way through already!

I wonder if Josefumi or Kira had any martial arts experience that subconsciously transferred over to Josuke or if he’s naturally becoming better at fighting over the course of the story? Either way, I’m loving the fight choreography and the mystery is unraveling at a fantastic pace.
