Being as ranks aren't just a school thing, but built into their society, I suspect there's some rule to say that school's can't hand out ranks 6+ or they can only have so many students at that rank or higher at a given time (possibly has to beat Ameri to get it?). Otherwise what's to stop...

Their chapters look like they're from the Tankoubon, so they might intentionally only do a chapter a month so that there's not a massive gap between volumes, choosing a consistent chapter a month schedule. If that's the case you'd end up getting caught up then having a few months of no chapters...

In a chapter discussion (here) a mod edited a users comment to remove a slur (good job mods <3). However a few posts down someone had replied to the original post and the embedded quote still included the original text of the post (i.e. the slur is still there).

@Glomoro The reason for this is psychological. By using an intermediary currency it obfuscates how much (real) money is being spent. This makes it harder to keep track of how much you're spending and thus more likely to spend more because you don't realise how much you've already spent.
