Don't worry, it isn't. The Japanese is entirely unambiguous and there's no grammatical way for him to change his meaning. "俺 大狼のこと好きだ" Literally "I, towards Oogami, like"

Someone, sure, but they're talking specifically about fictional characters not other people. I know some people are deep in their fictional fantasies, but I feel like for most people they don't really entertain the idea of dating fictional characters

That was the translator's choice, the raws just say あいつ (aitsu) which isn't gendered.

Lol yeah I got to that line and pretty much immediately bought the raws to double check (also a good excuse to since I like the series) because that seemed a little too wild to me
