I'm honestly starting to get a bit overwhelmed in this arc already, having a hard time following along. There are so many new characters, so much going on and the dialogue feels so oddly paced for some reason, more so than usual for One Piece.

It almost feels like the author regretted that chapter, with how it ended and what happened afterwards. Like it progressed too much and felt like a confession/dating felt too close, so since then it has just been backtracking.
