    A Stepmother's Märchen - Vol. 1 Ch. 51

What is this? Trial episode in webtoon that doesn't suck? I'm genuinely impressed.

Villains Are Destined to Die - Vol. 1 Ch. 44 - [Season 1 End]

And here I thought her favorability will decline once... She just feeds him load of lies that she just made up in her head with self-righteous expression, and that's how she rises favorability. Oh well, good job Penelope.

    Otoyomegatari - Vol. 13 Ch. 94 - Crossroads

I for one don't get the excitement for "Nik being such a bad ass". I truly feel scenes like this undermine hyper-realistic approach of this manga. Just look at what happened: "Nik is not a reckless man" -> Nik immediately goes rambo mode and kills numbers of professional soldiers (!) in melee...

Comic started very promising, it really seemed this one would be different. But now it quickly descends to your run-of-the-mill shoujo webtoon level. Me sad )':

The Villainess Turns the Hourglass - Vol. 1 Ch. 43

@Helen_Brite I had this idea to root for Mielle instead, but people who read the novel revealed some details to me in comments, and apparently author decided to make Mielle some kind of Hitler and Satan adopted daugher, so that literally no one could like her. I still don't get it, why would...

The Villainess Turns the Hourglass - Vol. 1 Ch. 43

I can understand that plot is focused on revenge, its valid story, and arguably more insteresting than "forgivness/redemption" alternative. What buffles me when i read comments, is how many people root for Ariah, while they state their hate for Mielle, can't you see that those 2 aren't different...

The Villainess Turns the Hourglass - Vol. 1 Ch. 43

@311i3, i told it before and I'm going to insist, that in this exact timeline its Ariah who's meanest bitch around. Its her who's being unfair to Mielle, cause she taking revenge for things that Mielle didn't do (yet), ruining her life and trying to take away her lover, while all Mielle's...

The Villainess Turns the Hourglass - Vol. 1 Ch. 43

@Lazeran, ikr? Ariah only acts all mature and wise when its required for a story progression, but in daily scenes like this, she behaves like a spoiled brat. On a side note i don't even know what Oscar was thinking gifting matching brooch to Ariah, brooches are worn in a very conspicuous way...

The Villainess Turns the Hourglass - Vol. 1 Ch. 43

@GambierBay, haha, same here. Only character i root for in this webtoon is Sarah, but she ended up well in both timelines, so it's kinda irrelevant who prevails Ariah or Mielle, she always ends up in good spot. Its kinda ironic and shows that being nice and honest person will get you through...

    Sincerely: I Became a Duke's Maid - Vol. 2 Ch. 59

@kvkacy Yeah, i kinda hate those moments too, as soon as Isekai'd MC does anything that contradicts novel (even more so if its major turning point that is changed), it should be pretty obvious that novel is no longer accurate and you can forget about it completely.

Villains Are Destined to Die - Vol. 1 Ch. 25

"Please praise me, master" Damn this webtoon becomes so cringy... Quick synopsis: 14 y.o. girl that's still on probation period goes to slave market on her own, completely reveals her identity presenting family crest, buys most expensive slave with her family money, intentionally overpaying the...

    The Villainess Turns the Hourglass

Ok, you convinced me. Apparently author decided to make Mielle irredeemably rotten to the core, making it very hard to commiserate with her. I don't know why they can apply "not bad, just misunderstood" trope so well to MC, but every antagonist in every shoujo manga is hopelessly evil for 0...

    Gorae Byul - The Gyeongseong Mermaid - Ch. 24 - I Cannot Speak (7/9)

Wow he actually drunk that? I'm quite surprised, from the very start of this chapter it looked like its going to be another one "forgiveness" plot trope. It goes like this: they let girl decide Haesoo's punishment, but despite all the hard feeling she's too kind to actually let him die, and she...

Villains Are Destined to Die - Vol. 1 Ch. 22

@Zephyr247, very refreshing comment in mid of all usual "i ship x with y" kind of comments, my applauds. While I completely agree, I'm also curious how can you stand all these isekai/otome/baby princess shojo comics with standards as high as yours. I mean slavery is not most annoying cheesy plot...
