@Legion_01 You are forgetting this is set in S.Korea. Prosecutors play a main role in both the investigative and judicial process. Edit: you've replied to someone else, so I'll add that this is a dramatisation of events. Prosecutors will tell you these are wildly exaggerated.

All of the recruits so far have sad sob stories, I can see the general direction of the manga. I'll stick with it, but I don't need the constant sad stories pls.
