To be honest, as someone who doesn't like the anime that much, I preferred the anime's version of the guy who's repeating all the stuff from the netlore. It was cool how he barely seemed to be maintaining his physical form. Aside from that, I've much preferred the manga version of this arc so far.

Interesting premise with a boring execution. The tone is mostly comedic, but it's never that funny. The "plot" is barebones and things happen one after another without any meaningful changes after the first chapter. Both the "comedy" and the "plot" are repetitive. If it was actually funny, or if...

SAD probably hasn't dropped it; they're just very inconsistent, especially lately.

So what's the likelihood of this actually being physically distributed in English at this point?

I read the third volume of the LN the other day. It was fantastic. I hope the anime will cover it. [/spoiler]

After reading the first two LN volumes, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the next arc is drawn.

For anyone who's not aware, the first two novels just got published in paperback in English. They were released together as an omnibus. The first novel (i.e. the first half of the omnibus) ends with the "Time, Space, and a Middle-Aged Man" arc.

@ygizbeez The scan team is pretty inconsistent with their uploads regardless of the series. They just had a month-long gap between uploads and they've only made four uploads since the last chapter of this, so it's likely they'll continue this, whether the next chapter is uploaded a week from now...

Man, this arc had everything. I hope the series can roughly maintain this level of quality. That two-page spread of Toriko explaining the Otherside beings was great. It was both funny and creepy when Sorawo was thinking of just taking Kozakura home in plant form and seeing her bloom. I wonder...

@fauxatarxia They were inactive for a month or so, then they updated another series about a week ago, so hopefully it won't be too long until the next chapter.
