The prize for the current match is the partner, so Shinobi and Mary. Not to burst your bubble, but this was coming from miles away...

    Reincarnation Coliseum - Vol. 4 Ch. 18 - Carelessness

We're back on track after the last chapter. The burning question I have, is when the fuck are we going to see the secretary getting banged?

Risou no Himo Seikatsu - Vol. 15 Ch. 64 - The Desired Outcome

Unless you use a system that doesn't use SWIFT, like Crypto, you're out of luck. It doesn't even help to use a country that doesn't sanction Russia because SWIFT is based in Belgium and 99% of all worldwide bank transfers, i.e. the ones used outside of Russia and China and with cross-border...

I'm in Love with the Villainess - Ch. 40 - Dancing Maiden

So, when should I read the spinnoff? After Vol.2 or somewhere in the middle?

I'm in Love with the Villainess - Ch. 40 - Dancing Maiden

Probably. Though you can't really talk about renaissance Italy without talking about the Borgias and how they literally broke every rule the church ever raised. I think it could've been handled better. Because as it currently stands we have a queen who'd sell her own daughter and a king who...

I'm in Love with the Villainess - Ch. 40 - Dancing Maiden

That doesn't make any sense because Yu is third in line (at best) and the more time passes the worse her standing gets. Every child from Rod or Thane, no matter the sex, pushes her back in the line of succession. The only reason to "make" her male is to wed her to Lilly so church and royal...

I'm in Love with the Villainess - Ch. 40 - Dancing Maiden

Colour me surprised as well. It totally fits her. LN Readers: where in the LNs does this chapter take place?

Risou no Himo Seikatsu - Vol. 15 Ch. 63 - An Unexpected Reunion

She's 15 when we first saw her. IN the LN a good year has passed so she's now 16 or 17.

    Reincarnation Coliseum - Vol. 3 Ch. 15 - The Far-East Assassins

The credits page doesn't show any of the girls from the story, as there's an elf and a redhead on it and the "ninja" girl isn't as flat as a board. It's just a generic page that was done at some point. Going by the authors twitter they only recently designed the Ninja.

Parallel Paradise - Vol. 25 Ch. 245 - Love wins?

When was the last time we saw her in that form? Must've been a while.

Berserk of Gluttony - Vol. 10 Ch. 52 - Farewell to Aaron

That is true, but most people won't know that particular part history that well and in common English "King" refers to a male, while "Queen" refers to a female sovereign. Also: I always was of the impression that Aaron knows who Eris really is, especially given and given that it's a private...

Berserk of Gluttony - Vol. 10 Ch. 52 - Farewell to Aaron

Finally a good translation. Two small errors though: Page 4: Aaron's speech bubble should read "Queen", not "King" Page 20: "Birth father" is a really weird wording and usually "biological father" is used.

Berserk of Gluttony - Vol. 11 Ch. 54

Heavens -- my spellcheck is screaming when I quoted your post: After a comma, you don't capitalize There has to be a comma before "but the" "is is not fitted in the text"[sic] is nonsensical English There has to be a comma before "so they" There has to be a comma after "Well" There has to be a...

Berserk of Gluttony - Vol. 10 Ch. 53

At this point I don't have Inferno/Nihongo blocked because this threads and Jamezz's posts are peak comedy. No comma i.e. "well it is true", not "well, it is true" There is always a space after punctuation Outside the academic world contractions are the norm, so it should be "it's", not "it...

Boushoku no Berserk: Ore Dake Level to Iu Gainen o Toppa Suru - Vol. 10 Ch. 51 - Unwanted Returnee.

That's why I said "On the danger of making an argument from authority". However, Tolkien was a professor of English Language and Literature with a keen interest in language itself and therefore his views do hold some ground when it comes to translating, precisely because he knew how hard it is...

Boushoku no Berserk: Ore Dake Level to Iu Gainen o Toppa Suru - Vol. 10 Ch. 51 - Unwanted Returnee.

First: Lady just refers to a woman of social superior status[1]. Using it just for "woman of noble birth", constraints the word too much, to the point of the statement being just wrong. Second: Even if the word had the meaning you state it has (which it doesn't), it would be fitting for Ellis...

Boushoku no Berserk: Ore Dake Level to Iu Gainen o Toppa Suru - Vol. 10 Ch. 51 - Unwanted Returnee.

One nitpicky thing I'd like to point out. For me Japanese honorifics always feel out of place in a translation, especially when there's a viable alternative available. For example, on page 12 you used "Ellis-sama", but you also could have used "Lady Ellis", which in my eyes let's the text flow...
