I've read manga/manhwa for nearly 20 years now but this is the first time I'm actually getting frustrated by the MC.
Duroa you bitch.
I blame the writer. A lot of MC's response and behavior feels so forced. Almost as though she's being brainwashed and puppetted not by the main dude, but by the...
on one hand, i feel like the next chapter there might be funny shenanigans like the family suddenly returning home and they ended up not doing anything like a typical romcom manga
on the other hand, this manga is not your typical romcom and has a history of subverting our expectations at...
That's quite fucked up how she's essentially being brainwashed by the "blessing" to become a hero. It doesn't even surprise me that she became a yandere considering that all her emotions are already killed off. Any little emotion she felt, she's gonna latch on to it for dear life.
The hero...
@Murricath more like it's based on wuxing philosophy of 5 elements (water, fire, earth, wood, metal). not to mention, ancient greek also had similar 5 elements though theirs are water, fire, earth, air, and aether/void.
I'd like to think in some corner of his mind, he actually realizes that trying to be a "Shadow Eminence" is a really childish and chuunibyou-esque dream.
It's really getting more and more interesting huh. I dropped this manga partway because it felt like another generic isekai, but my interest piqued when he wasn't able to fight properly against the dragon slayer. OP mc with some naivety and weaknesses is a lot more fun to read than an MC who...
Is this the season of heartbreaks or something? Our guy's rejection came at the same time as my own personal heartbreak. I guess he isn't our guy for nothing.
wild speculations incoming
maybe the people that made drive knight are also making these new cyborgs? perhaps drive knight was a rogue creation or something. maybe metal knight is also involved somehow since he seems to be the top guy when it comes to robotics. they might not even be cyborgs...
@rei893 the author intentionally writes grid as someone who is really unlucky. he's never even found money in the streets lol. imo, it'll be more satisfying when something good finally happens to grid. but yeah, earlier in the story, unfortunate things will keep happening to grid. sometimes...
Man. This chapter really reminds me of the relationship between Grid and Khan from Overgeared. Hopefully they will have a precious bond like Grid and Khan's.
As sad as this was, it's also great how the author just kill off characters. It's also makes sense that the people who died was the younger ones i.e. the less experienced ones. It's awesome.
smol brain: one shot doesn't get serialized
BIGBRAIN: USE CHARACTERS FROM ONESHOT IN ANOTHER SERIALIZED SERIES SO ONESHOT TECHNICALLY GETS SERIALIZED ANYWAY
all according to author's keikaku
