@firefox1234 I interpreted that comment as meaning the users in the comment section of mangadex hating on female characters, not the mangaka’s or the site hosting service. In the context of Vinland Saga I feel like the commenters display gender equality and hate both male and female equally.

@Legion_1 if the plot of fighting for a girl feels dated, the manga was published in 2005.

@ fivenightsatfreddys correct, majority of people unfortunately can’t feel empathy for other people’s trauma. Most people barely understand their own.

@scarlet_summer Technically not cold-blooded murder. It was justified self defense. The author even frames the weapons the attacker had attempted to use. Of course the misunderstanding is it was murder but potentially we don’t go through that trope.

This mangaka reaction faces are the best. I know gag manga is rarely scanlated because humor based on puns in a foreign language don’t translate well but I’d love to see more wut faces from this mangaka.
