I think Hamita is going to hit us with some twist where we are brutally reminded that delinquents walk a dangerous line, and she's going to get wrapped up with some really bad people and get one or both of them killed.
Which really raises a question: this third Karin embodies an aspect of self-doubt yet unseen in the previous two Karins. If a subsequent Karin were a possessive yandere type, would that quality disappear from the existing Karins, as it's now embodied in the new Karin?

A small thing: the term is "beet red", not "beat red". A bit nonsense, since beets tend to look more purple, and being beaten might make your face the same color as blushing, but that's the term.
