Damn... This is quite possibly the worst way I've ever seen a romance this rushed executed.

It's like someone scientifically created the most boring main character possible, gave him 0 agency, emotion or development and decided to replace that by making him a mindless drone of the standard haughty-narcissistic-noble-villain every other isekai props up for them to get comedically...

... I'm really wondering about the end-game of this story. Is it just gonna end in a few chapters? Since the start the narrative has been tied to the consort selection and now that it's basically over... ? There hasn't been anything to set up any larger narrative — even this rather contrived...

Man... What happened? The first four volumes were legitimately fantastic with great and rather complex characters, but since then it has just been steadily going downhill. Volume five just felt aimless, six and seven gave me hope, but now that I'm almost at volume 13 it is just tedious to read...
