yeah your correct but i think the manga followed the LN not the WN so the story its more refined and has alot added story like the pirate arc are longer and adding the story of pirate rebellion etc

the manga pace sucks! but i think the mc character depiction is spot on, a lazy bullied chuni middle or high school kids.. unlike other isekai that suddenly became brave with no aversion to killing and if i'm not mistaken he haven't killed any human yet so his aversion is justifiable...
