Perfect ending and magnificent scanlation work. Thank you for bringing this gem to us.
I fully expected Hisashi to pass away after saving his son and daughter-in-law in the accident but that would have given Takashi eternal grief and regret, so this ending was much more beautiful.
Nobunaga is an interesting case of PR. He was not any more or any less of a "villain" than the other warlords of his time, they were all basically just like him. The only difference is some of his contemporaries managed to outlive him and basically shitposted about him for decades after his...
No matter how you feel about the plot or characters, what she says there is absolutely right. History is written by the winners, and sometimes the only thing you need to do to win is to survive longer than your enemies, even as you discard all notions of valor and honor to achieve it. She's...
She's becoming more and more attached to Nobunaga and the Oda clan in general. I'm definitely overthinking this but one possible plot development is she will end up being the one to die instead of him in Honnoji and her "death" will timeslip her back into the modern era, where she regrets...

Your comment made me think of Seiko from Chi no Wadachi - can we truly call her evil? And yet she still ruined the lives of pretty much every named character in the manga, including her own family.
You can tell the exact moment Kanetaka became Toake 2.0, and that scar from Toki (which also resembles Toki's obviously) was a nice touch. I'm getting the same impression as what I got when I saw how Michael Corleone changed after he lost Apollonia.
Now to see whether Toake became a bigshot...
You NEED to read this, even if you justifiably resent your parents. Actually, the more you resent them the more it is imperative that you read this beautiful manga.
There are some similar elements to those of Ubume no Natsu and Mouryou no Hako (both adapted by Aki Shimizu from the Kyougokudou novels) in this chapter. Also the slime is basically a Shoggoth, and I wouldn't be surprised if the key to this mystery is Kiriko's original body.
