@citrus3301 Well, consistent updates is not quite the accurate way to put it, since there's only five chapters of this left. According to Anilist, the manga ended on December 27 last year, with 55 chapters total.

@codetaku There probably isn't, since this chapter here starts right where the anime left off before it had to go on a corona break, so I doubt they'll cover previous chapters. The anime is great though, you're missing out.

@KN-XIII As far as I'm aware, what you see as one chapter here was originally three chapters, so since they put them together for here on Mangadex, you only see 8 chapters, but they came into existence by putting together those 24 shorter chapters. I guess another way to describe this would be...

@Whatev At the very least, they still have to play against all four teams ahead of them, so it's really in their own hands at this point (even though they still need some help from other teams to catch up to the top three).

Quick question: Assuming I've only seen the anime but not read the prequel manga, how much would I miss out on if I were to start with Back 2 Back? (Mostly asking because the prequel isn't fully scanslated and importing everything would be too expensive.)

@Xamdiz I wouldn't be surprised if it was. The mangaka (Satoshi Mizukami) is a Gainax fan in general and you can see this in a lot of his works. Hoshi no Samidare throws in a ton of FLCL references, the currently airing Planet With has plenty of nods to stuff like Gunbuster, Evangelion etc too...

I'll be honest, as somebody in a similar boat to Nitorin, this really destroyed me at times. An exceptionally great read, but damn... there's some way too relatable stuff in there.
