Yeah the whole skip to being captured was..jarring, but usually the whole running to save Girl from danger at destination is usually a inner-monologue/exposition dump anyway so I can understand just skipping it. Still very jarring though.

The Marie route story really was peak, I hope the author chooses to 2nd Arc that story like they are doing with this Main route.
