I agree with the MC. The guy is cruel. Not only does he forcibly manipulate her memories(which alone is monstrous), but he tricks her into a marriage.

Rather than "respecting" women, isn't it more accurate to say that he is using them? He doesn't seem to mind women having power, which is better than most in this setting, but that's clearly not the main goal. He's having her take ownership of the academy so that she will receive the scrutiny...

My main issue is that bullshit about rich people. Becoming rich is largely about exploiting opportunities(ie. luck) and people. Does hard work help? Of course, but hard work alone will not change one's position. There is no "virtue", as another commenter put it, to being rich. What garbage ideology.

I get the feeling annulling her engagement isn't going to be as easy as it should be. 😒
