The plan of Akane and co is surprisingly reasonable. Hayato had a valid reason for not answering their confessions back then. But that time has passed; it's time for him to make a decision. I just fear that the harem status quo is too strong for such a development to happen.

Poor Rei. Despite her charm, she is such a one-dimensional character. No wonder she got banished to the diner by author; then again, it's his fault that Rei never got the chance to evolve.

I have a hard time deciding whether this was planned in advance, or the author just backtracked after seeing the fan reaction. One thing is for sure: Rei could not take Ouka's place in the cast. Her misunderstanding is basically her sole gimmick right now with not much else in sight.

Is she really going to be a main character? That misunderstanding joke is getting old already...

Not sure what to say. She certainly did not have much romantic chemistry with Hayato, but it was nice to have a main character who wasn't a child in a grown woman's body or head over heels for him. The way the story progresses, it feels as if it's only downhill from here.
