Circumstances of her reincarnation suggest otherwise. Her memories were programmed to unlock and return when she turned 6. She really is the owner of her new body since she was actually born into it, and didn't just jump into it at the moment of its death.

Also on page 10 when she said "I", flow of the conversation suggests that she wanted to go out into the field and handle it herself. Should that "I" not have been "Me", as a response?

Nice to see that Laura is level-headed. Depnding on how she views the MC though, this could make her even more dangerous than her mother. It would be fine if she was willing to let the MC go, and they just go back to their own lives.
