The problem i have with this is the story is told through the lens of the Japanese samurai dude and he's not only an incredibly boring character because of how excessively stoic he is, he's not related to goblin slayer in any way shape or form. I get that

Historical context is a funny thing, because this was one of the very first villainess manga and it helped create the trend. If you had read this 11 years ago like i did you'd have a different opinion. I do think it hasn't aged well though.
I agree with one thing, the plot is very cliche. I like how it's progressing and i think it's well written but i think all of us have read similar stuff before.
This was written to be a slow burn romance but it 100% got axed before it could develop the relationship properly so the way she fell in love with him was very stockholm syndrome like as a result.
