On one hand I'm happy it got to be completed... on the other, what a disappointing ending. It felt rushed, somehow too wild, and I really think it was just a cop out ending - like nisioisin wrote himself in to a corner - if it's as true to the story as the group claims. There could've been real...
IIRC in this case it's justified in that because it's her second time around, she knew everything her friend liked causing her to latch on a little too hard when they met
The story never really gives you a reason to care about any of that though. At least here we had that they were fighting for a friend, and even this was paced quite slow, as someone who's been reading for years.
I really feel like the series should end around this. I don't know how it can keep the power scaling going, find a new story, or anything really while still remaining interesting.
