Unmei wa Yaku ni Tatanai - Ch. 2

I was thinking more a sort-of reverse Bloom Into You, at least tonally

    Chou Kaguya-hime!

It was a post they made about skeb commissions 4 years ago. Just because she didn't want to do BL and Yuri then doesn't mean she doesn't now. And the manga isn't straight washing anything. That was all a made up controversy blown out of proportion. It's still a faithful adaptation, just a...

    Chou Kaguya-hime!

Yeah, it's the weaker of the adaptations for sure, but that's to be expected of a manga adaptation of a movie tbh. The pacing in particular feels a bit wacky here, but it's still fun to read nevertheless. The mangaka said they had to cut some scenes to fit better with the manga, but wanted to...

    Chou Kaguya-hime! - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

Finally the handshake! I like how they added the concert after, and the page of them hugging and sleeping together is so damn cute. Thanks for the chapter!

    Chou Kaguya-hime! - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

Calm down, the kiss part of the handshake didn't happen at this point in the movie either.

    Sankakkei no Kowashi-kata - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

Hmm I'm not sure what to think about their age gap. I usually avoid stories with problematic age gaps but this one is pretty compelling. It feels like Koto is manipulating Aya a bit. Perhaps Aya disappearing all those years ago left her with some underlying trauma, and she's manipulating Aya to...

    Zenbu Kimi no Sei - Vol. 6 Ch. 33 - Case.33

Oh, that makes sense. I'm not very familiar with genderbender so I haven't been bogged down by common tropes really. I do think it is heading in a straight direction. The main character seems too against being a woman to have it end like that, unless Nagi ends a man I guess.

    Zenbu Kimi no Sei - Vol. 6 Ch. 33 - Case.33

I can understand that. Though, while there certainly is a difference between straight, gay, and lesbian, I've always seen them all as just normal.

    Zenbu Kimi no Sei - Vol. 6 Ch. 33 - Case.33

Is... Is a lesbian ending not normal??? Also maybe I'm the odd one out for hoping for a yaoi ending

The Moon on a Rainy Night - Vol. 4 Ch. 16

I'm not sure if you're arguing that it's not a homophone, but in case you are The word for canon in Japanese is カノン (ka-no-n), which is a homophone with Kanon. This is likely intentional on the authors part. Sure, it's not a homophone with the English pronunciation, but it is in Japanese.

[Oshi no Ko] - Ch. 108 - PLAN

Aqua in japanese is Akua(アクア). -kun is an informal honorific typically given to a man, or someone of lower status to you. Akua-kun gets shortened to Akkun as a nickname.

Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken - Vol. 3 Ch. 10.1

The LN hasn't caught up to the WN just yet, but there were some changes in removing some repetitive monologues and some scenes. Volumes 1-4 have official English and there's proofread MTL up to volume 7.

Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken - Vol. 3 Ch. 10.1

I believe the web novel actually stopped receiving updates from the Author. They said they wanted to focus on the LN, which has some changes from the WN.
