Chapter 11 is almost certainly going to end up as a parallel to chapter 1, where Sakurako is the one waiting at the statue for Yuhi this time. Chapter 12 could end up being another flashback chapter to close out the two's backstory from middle school and explain Yuhi's side of things while the...

It could also just be the first arc ending, setting up for the story to shift directions. The current drama can't end until Yuhi and Sakurako sort things out and Mashiro's dealt with. The revenge romcom angle wouldn't necessarily be over either, because I'm sure Yuhi has enough exes who hate...

Yuhi likely figured out it was Sakurako for certain during chapter 5. In chapter 3, Sakurako accidentally called Yuhi by her surname. In chapter 4, Yuhi asked Sakurako a series of questions about herself, with Sakurako wondering if Yuhi was onto her. Then in chapter 5, Sakurako sent Yuhi a text...

Chapter 3 showed that Yuhi didn't realize it was Sakurako at first. She couldn't figure out how "Mocchi" knew her surname, Amano.

Yuhi pointing out that no one wants to see her at "times like this", is basically because her friends with benefits are in it for only the fun and don't want to deal with anything inconvenient. Basically like how Aoi treated Yuhi, pushing to get what she wants from her, to then coldly ditch Yuhi...

To start off with their mother, she's clearly why Mona developed the tendency to lie to appease. But their mother also lied, saying young Mona could see Naoi again once things settled down. I wonder if their mother caught on to Mona's compulsive lying and why she does it. It could be the real...

I assume Mona did this kind of thing even prior to reuniting with Naoi. It's a way to fill the void, so that she's not lonely. And it's practice for getting close to Naoi if/when they do actually mend their relationship. She's much too polished at it for it to be something she only recently...

Mona has a facade for each person she's talking to, so we haven't seen the "real" Mona yet. Though the little bit of herself that she seemingly let slip through the cracks, did seem to have major desire to connect with Naoi. Though why she'd call it "weird" after trailing off is questionable...

Problem is, that since Kurumi went against Mona's request to keep things secret, Mona won't be able to really mirror herself to Naoi. Because Kurumi already told Naoi that Mona's into softball, so now Naoi views Mona as an athlete. Which could make Mona very upset, since it seems like Naoi is...

This chapter gave some interesting details on Mona. Mona's issue at this point seems to be that she tries to fill her loneliness by getting superficially close to the people around her. By the look of things, she observes people's interests or gets the person to reveal their hobbies to her...

She's waiting for Naoi at Naoi's school during that scene. The girls that pass by her are wearing Kurumi and Naoi's uniform.

Since next chapter likely ends the volume, I'm guessing Sakurako sees Yuhi and bails her out of the situation. Yuhi has to open up now that the problem is unavoidable. After all, we still weren't given any more context of back when she rejected Sakurako. And I'm pretty sure Yuhi already realized...

I think that Kurumi might've accidentally torpedoed Mona's plan right before Mona showed up to her house this chapter. If Kurumi's mom is coming back home, that means Mona won't be able to hang out there anymore. And this isn't something Mona can talk her way through. Would be funny if it's the...

Thanks. I also thought of something else. Kurumi might interpret the request as Mona trying to replace Naoi as her older sister with herself, which could actually make Kurumi angry. After all, it was Kurumi who was so optimistic about Mona having no ulterior motive and only wanting Naoi to live...

I think it depends if Mona picked up on the fact that Kurumi and Naoi are into each other. If she did, then she might partially be doing this to get to know her sister's future girlfriend better, since Mona clearly admires Naoi a lot, so of course would also think anyone her sister's in love...

I think the manga's getting ready to transition phases. During the interview with the author last year, it was mentioned they wanted "Yoshizawa getting jerked around by the free-spirited Naoi, and the dynamic between the two of them who can't be honest with each other... Maybe there isn't enough...

Chapter 31's opening made it clear Mona wants to be protected from something. If it was just wanting attention, she wouldn't be so desperate to get Naoi back living with them. The future step dad might be abusing her in some way. Even Naoi noted last chapter that there's something wrong to make...

I think it's both based on how Mona's acted these past 2 chapters. Last chapter, Mona asked about Kurumi's parents, then Kurumi gave a very blunt reaction. My guess is that Mona realized that Kurumi currently lives alone, so wants to turn her house into her new safehaven. No adults around to ask...

The Mona situation feels like it's closely mirroring Kokoro pressuring Kurumi in chapter 7. They're even sitting at the same table from back then (I wonder if it'll flashback to that time actually). And of course, Mona wanting to keep all of this a secret from Naoi is a giant red flag...

My prediction is that Mashiro's target was always Yuhi's sister, but the sister might have been unobtainable for some reason back then, so she used Yuhi as a more easily controlled replacement. However, it's possible the sister later became obtainable, so Mashiro dropped Yuhi and kept their...
