Yeah this arc was unnecessarily dumb in that way. When the readers are utterly confused and know the solution at the first page, then as a writer you did something wrong. I don't know how this was handled in the novel, but in this manga version it was just nonsense.

That is not what completed means. The Completed status means that the series was regularly resolved to a finale and is officially finished by the publisher. It is not a Manga Dex indicator for a series being declared as completed by a translator or anything similar to that. There are series...
