Don't burn yourselves out trying to catch up. Quality is always worth waiting for (Yado-Inn's stuff for example).
It might take a little longer to get back on track, but it's better than rushing something out the door imo.

All I want from this manga is for a plot twist to reveal Nikaido is actually crushing on Kaede and is just stealing MC because she's jealous and wants to make Kaede single again.

I swear - if the author knew that, and timed the confession for this, I just... I don't know whether I would want to scream or applaud.
I am only growing increasingly concerned about where this is heading. As everyone just seems to lover her more and more unconditionally, and the struggles and fears she had slip away, even as the brief blips of consciousness reveal an increasingly dire "real world" circumstance...

I had a feeling this was going to happen. The way the plot has been threading through has just been... too convenient. I get that in most of these stories it just goes that way, but the way they've been weaving her personal trauma into all of the characters, alongside the distinctly out of place...
This was so goooooooood. Glad I stumbled across it and will definitely read it a few more times. Such well written characters and the inevitable build up to tragedy was excellently executed.
For those wondering about the next update, I did a little digging. I'm guessing Vol 4 will come out later this year, as Vol 1 was released Feb 2020, Vol 2 Aug 2021, and Vol 3 Oct 2022. So probably Nov/Dec this year for the release of Vol 4.

I'm not usually a fan of meme/gag translations, but damn if this isn't some top tier stuff. I think I'd have gotten tired of the series after a few chapters if it wasn't for the constant absurdity that matches the absurd story. It lightens the mood and keeps the reading both fresh and cringe...
Akiba's death was unexpected, but appreciated. He made too many enemies for everyone to forgive him so it was nice to see that natural end play out. May he slowly bleed to death alone in the streets.
So happy to have this series TL'd - tysm! I love Chida Daisuke's works so the more that's TL'd...
And the moral centre arrives just in time. Reading this has really been like a supernatural/fantasy version of Ijousha no Ai. At once it's both nice to have another manga like it, but also a bit disappointing to see it follow the same story beats.
