The Bugle Call: Song of War - Ch. 27 - Modern Times

Oh, neat! So it isn't a post-apocalyptic setting, but an alt-history setting instead. I hope this won't break the story in the long run, though. Time travel needs to be handled very carefully as a plot point, because it tends to open a lot of plot holes.

    【Oshi no Ko】 - Vol. 16 Ch. 166 - STAR

This ending feels like getting to the end in an RPG and instead of letting you fight the last boss, the game just plays a cutscene where the main character blows himself up along with the boss, then cuts to credits. Subversive, sure. Also, very unsatisfying.

Shini Yasui Koushaku Reijou to Shichi-nin no Kikoushi - Vol. 4 Ch. 24

Yeah I dunno about that, I think it's nice to have some stakes for once. 99% of isekai have none, because the MC is "the strongest" and will win without even trying.

Company and Private Life - Ch. 101

I'm starting to think that the author doesn't know how she's supposed to react to this either, so he's putting off showing it until he gets an idea.

Fukuzatsu na Kyoudai no 4koma - Ch. 55

I like how everybody in this manga appears to be normal for like 3 pages and then goes off the deep end. It's great! I don't need to feel bad for these characters, they all deserve to be laughed at. :dogkek:

MAN OF RUST - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

That timeskip :pacman: "Okay so the MC gets beaten by a bad guy and sits in a cave eating rocks for 7 years, and then when he goes back the bad guy's still there and totally recognizes him but gets wrecked in 5 seconds."

    Sushi-ya VS Ojousama - Ch. 2

Uh, wouldn't something like "lady" or "young lady" be a better translation than "lass"?

    Shinozaki-kun no Mente Jijou - Vol. 9 Ch. 35

Considering how she panicked to death after that, this must have something to do with... The Noodle Incident.

Truly the best of both worlds. As expected of The Genius Witch.

Seishun no After - Vol. 4 Ch. 27 - Flowers Blooming Before the Cherry Blossoms

The plot is convoluted enough that I'd need to reread the whole thing to understand it, but it's such a feel-bad story that I don't really feel like doing that. So I guess I don't get it.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil - Vol. 25 Ch. 79 - Long-Distance Reconnaissance Mission V

Compared to the raws, even this one is about 2 years behind (publication date for volume 25 is listed as 2022/07/26). Wouldn't blame fan-translators for losing their motivation since the official translations are starting to slowly catch up.

Neko no Te datte Yaku ni Tatsu - Ch. 177 - On That Day

Putting aside the other (entirely reasonable) stuff you posted, this is what I came to post about. Rat poison is designed to provide a slow, painful death. Because rats are smart, they won't eat food that is surrounded by dead rats, so a fast-acting poison doesn't work as well.
