@KitsuVonKraft it's not really an hassle per se. Gate is basically is dokodemo door and has no weakness other than "must have been there at least once" and between fighting every single guard there and risk the death of the girl or be dragged into prison the second option is by far the easiest...

@Claresilver47 honestly, mama boy and the mother are the most likeable characters of this entire story if you don't count MC. Just hope he doesn't kill the two of them, the dude doesn't look like he could harm a fly

Characters that acts on their feelings and are in the wrong are not really popular among anime/manga people
