Ok we have confirmation from reading ahead in the raws. Ume is indeed female. I will change the earlier chapters to fit accordingly later this week. Just to avoid any confusion. The manga itself doesnt do a very good job of specifying who is what gender aside from like 2-3 fluffies so yeah lol...

Just a quick heads up regarding Ume's gender. I'm waiting on Tree's confirmation that Ume is indeed female. If it's true, I'll make the necessary corrections on earlier chapters. Sorry for any confusion in advance.

So far it looks like the only dark theme we'll get is likely the pasts of some of the monsters he tames. Which of course will be overwritten once they become fluff at the cafe. xD
