I don't remember what chapter that was so I can't check, but in 31, she definitely couldn't see it. She could infer information about it from its effect on nearby spirits, but had to rely on Yuria to actually see it and tell her how it looks. Maybe she was doing something similar in the chapter...

On the other hand, she can see life force/auras that Miko can't, so it's not strictly inferior in every circumstance.
