My thoughts exactly. If she is the bully, of course she would 'know' something's wrong, since she's the cause, and uses the bullying as a way to manipulate her into getting attached to her, like everyone else. Classic manipulator stuff right there.

I might pick up the live-action series, this is the kind of drama I like to eat up, and I can binge the manga once it has some more chapters ^-^
I like how the author shows how systemic hatred towards a group (in this case black magic) doesn't openly bias most people as individuals, especially if they're educated (in the 'receptive to new information' way, not the book-smarts way).
