This chapter sort of solidified Senpai's character as the kind of person who's capable, but never really applies himself unless he has to. The only thing he ever really does is in art, and he's convinced himself it's all he can do.

Exactly. And I definitely think that Naoto (Senpai) can sense that she's not actually really trying to be malicious towards him. Towards bullying in the past he just ignored them, but that was never the case with Nagatoro from the start. Secondly, we see later on as well how he actually reacts...

This manga was incredibly messy while it was ending, and then now they kept it going and I can't even tell what the author is doing. Like, where is this going? Why did they revive it? All of it just confuses me.
